How do I install Diagnosis (ICD-9) and procedure (CPT) plug-ins on a Pocket PC handheld?
Installation of ICD-9/CPT codes on PocketPC is achieved as follows:
Make sure that PocketBilling is exited (File > Exit) on the handheld first…
- PocketBilling 3.X users ONLY: Rename the file that you downloaded to either “PB DIAGS 3.0.PDB” , for ICD-9, or “PB PROCEDURES 3.0.PDB” , for CPT. NOTE: Files contain spaces and not underline characters.
- From the ActiveSync application, click the “Explore” button.
- Copy the file you renamed to the /My Documents/HanDBase3/ folder from this Explorer window on the handheld — it should overwrite the existing file.
- ActiveSync the handheld and it should be available.
